Our organizational consulting and training is especially designed for professionals working in the non-profit sector and public service, governmental departments. Additionally, we also provide services for organizations and employees in all sectors.

Available Training & Consulting

Organizational Consulting

We design and facilitate specific training for organizations experiencing myriad difficulties, from dysfunctional communication to quality-improvement strategies.

Health & Wellness Training

This focuses on the emotional health and wellness of employees, whether police officers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, correctional officers, probation and parole agents, victim advocates, nurses, teachers or other helping professionals. This includes training on how to be aware of – and prevent – the dysfunctional effects of the job on employees and their families, including secondary trauma.

Mindfulness Training

We teach how to incorporate mindfulness into your personal life, your work life and the collective work of which you are a part.

Ethics Training

Boundary and confidentiality issues are at the heart of this training – both when working with co-workers and with consumers of your services. This includes identifying and eradicating unconscious and unwritten rules of agreement in yourself and your organization that lead to problematic behaviors.

Diversity Training

Unconscious bias can enter into various individual and organizational decision-making points, which is crucial to recognize and understand. We examine unconscious bias and create work environments that enable everyone to use their multiple and creative talents.

Fostering Healthy Communication & Conflict Resolution

We teach how to create guidelines and buy-in to foster healthy communication and reduce conflict in your workplace or organization. This includes training tools for mediating individual and team conflicts.

Team Building

We provide tools that foster employees' ability to understand their own and each others' learning and communication patterns. This builds more effective communication and productivity within and among teams.

Creating/Running Project Teams

We address a common organizational challenge: how to design teams that are functional and pass through defined stages of group development with ease.

Team Leader/ Facilitator Training

We train team members and leaders to run project groups and other groups effectively. This includes how to accomplish the tasks of the group more effectively with processes that are effective for all – and not just some – members (please also see Planning & Running Effective Meetings).

Supervisory & Leadership Training

Don't we yearn for true leadership? This is a vast need. We focus on going beyond being a supervisor or a manager by providing inspirational leadership to get the work done.

Planning & Running Effective Meetings

Most of us spend an excessive amount of time in meetings. It is important that the meetings in our organizations are planned and run effectively so that valuable time is not wasted. This requires knowledge on how to properly build agendas; lead, facilitate and evaluate meetings; and effectively define and accomplish missions, tasks and ground rules within a framework of functional group norms and behaviors.
